Building the core mobile app for ReproPlan, an AI-powered reproductive health platform for African youth — the product the whole startup is built around. It combines an AI chatbot, reproductive health information, contraceptive access, facility location, and gender-based-violence referral support into one accessible platform.

Early WorkThe first app I ever built.
A simple real-time location sharing app — share your position with friends, watch it update live, and get it converted into a readable address via the Google Maps API. Not much UI polish, but everything here taught me how apps actually work.

PausedSign language translation — paused, not abandoned.
Built as a research assistant on the AfriSign project: the full frontend for a sign language machine translation app. My contract ended before the frontend could be wired up to the translation model, so the app works but doesn't yet talk to any AI. Next step: find an open sign-language model on Hugging Face or GitHub and finish the connection myself.

Join a default room or spin up your own, drop in on a live conversation the way you would on a call, and talk through whatever academic topic brought you there. Real-time audio is powered by Agora, with Firebase handling auth and data underneath.

An AI-powered, fully anonymous platform for sexual and reproductive health information. A local-and-cloud LLM chatbot answers questions privately, and OpenStreetMap routes users to their nearest clinic when they need one.
Academic work
Research Assistant

Kumasi, Ghana
Selected for a merit-based research placement under Ghana's National Service Scheme. Led curation and annotation of a multilingual sign language video dataset across six African sign languages and six countries, using MediaPipe for keypoint extraction — the resulting model reached 94.6% accuracy and 97.3% precision. Also led manuscript preparation for a CNN-BiLSTM mobile money fraud detection study, translating the team's architectural decisions into rigorous academic writing.

Delivered lab sessions for CSM 183/184 (Introduction to Computers) to 500+ first-year students, CSM 177 (Computer Appreciation) to 200+ Sociology students, and CSM 255 (Open Source Operating Systems) to 250 second-year students, covering everything from basic computer literacy to Ubuntu and terminal fundamentals.
